Programme profile
This programme is new, taught through English, for 2016.
In the programme, you combine the study of communication processes in (international) organisations with the study of a foreign language (English, French, German, or Spanish). The programme is characterised by a strong focus on inter-cultural and multilingual communication. You will gain insight into (inter-cultural) communication, marketing communication and management, so as to prepare you for a (communication) career in the international business world.
In the foreign language modules, you will develop your business communication competence in one of the four foreign languages and gain a thorough understanding of the culture of the countries where the language is spoken. These modules are content-based, which means you will be working on realistic projects relating to questions and issues in international (business) communication, such as organising the promotion for an international trade fair, exploring a foreign market for a product, designing an advertising campaign in the foreign language or developing a communication plan for a foreign start-up company.
